The anime follows a simple premise. A socially distant high school student, Takuma Sakamoto is the menacing demon king Diablo in a game called Cross Reverie.
One day, two attractive waifus, Rem Galeu and Shera L. Greenwood summon him.
After a series of (un) fortunate events, Rem and Shera become Takuma’s slaves, and now he must defeat the true demon king from the fantasy land.
However, luck is back in his favor as the world resembles that of Cross Reverie, the MMORPG he had practically conquered.

Release date
Season 2 of How Not to Summon a Demon Lord will be released in April 2021 and will be part of the spring 2021 anime lineup.

Season 1 ended on vol. Chapter 40.1 and Season 2 will continue from Chapter 40.2 of the original light novel.
