The first trailer for the new Netflix series “Sky Rojo” is here and gives hope for a wild road trip with lots of action. Two not entirely unknown faces had their hands in this project. The series was produced by Álex Pina, who also came up with the idea for the mega hit “House of Money”. He is supported again by his long-time writing partner Esther Martínez Lobato, with whom he wrote the script for the thriller series “White Lines” after his first huge success.
What is the Plot
So now the success of “House of Money” is to be linked. “Sky Rojo” tells the story of three prostitutes who are on the run from their pimps. However, they cannot turn to the police because they – how could it be otherwise – are involved in criminal activities themselves. So the three women have to fight their way to freedom on their own. And that seems to pose some difficulties. The trailer promises plenty of action in bright colors and gives hope for a spectacular chase. The complete first season, which should consist of eight episodes, will be available on the streaming platform from March 19. But that’s not all: a second season has already been confirmed for sure. The sequel has already been ordered and will appear to hit Netflix in 2022.
