Spider-Man 3: First exciting insights and the final title of the Marvel blockbuster

Anticipation is known to be the greatest joy – and this really heats up the three main actors of the new Spider-Man 3 film with their first glimpses.

It is eagerly awaited – the third part of the Spider-Man series from the Marvel universe. To stir up the anticipation even more, the main actors Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon have now revealed a first look at the upcoming blockbuster cinema.

What will happen in Spider-Man 3?

The three actors each shared a photo on Instagram showing Peter Parker (Holland), MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Batalon) in three different scenarios. On Zendaya’s channel you can see the three actors looking critically into a laptop.

Tom Holland posted a photo of the three staring at something outside of the camera image. The background suggests that Parker, MJ and Ned are exploring an old house.

Jacob Batalon teate a scene in which he and his two fellow actors – most likely – are standing at the entrance to the basement of the old house.

What is the name of the film now?

In addition to the film clips, the actors also revealed their own (joking) ideas for the title of Spider-Man 3 in the posts: Zendaya chose “Home Slice”, Batalon called his “Home-Wrecker” and Holland suggested “Phone Home” in front. A little later a video from @SpiderManMovie followed on Twitter, in which the actual title of the film was probably revealed: “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.

Old acquaintances in Spider-Man 3

Familiar faces from the previous two franchises will also reappear in the film. In Spider-Man 3, Alfred Molina will also take up his role as Otto Octavius (or Doctor Octopus or Doc Ock) again. Jamie Foxx will return to the role of Max Dillon / Electro.

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield – both played Spiderman in the previous parts of the Marvel series – will not appear in the upcoming film, according to Holland. Spider-Man 3 is expected to hit theaters on December 17, 2021. And then at the latest it will be clear whether “No Way Home” is really the official title of the film.
