Netflix presents the characters of the Jurassic World animated series that will arrive on the platform in September
Jurassic World : Camp Cretaceous is Netflix’s new family animated series that premieres worldwide on September 18. With Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park saga), Scott Kreamer( Pinky Malinky ) and Lane Lueras (Kung-Fu Panda) in charge of the executive production of the project, the series takes the viewer back to the world of Jurassic Park in a very special way : through the story of a group of teenagers who are trapped, and surrounded by dinosaurs, on the island of Nublar.
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous follows a group of six teenagers chosen for a unique experience in a new adventure camp on the other side of Isla Nublar. But when the dinosaurs wreak havoc on the island, the campers are trapped. Unable to contact the outside world, they must have the help of strangers, friends and family if they want to survive.
Characters
Darius Bowman:
Darius in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is clever as a lynx, albeit a bit withdrawn, but his shyness quickly disappears when he talks about his favorite topic: dinosaurs. Darius has been obsessed with them since he learned to walk, and he spends his life reading about these majestic creatures. Darius’s passion, the will to always show himself as he is and the enthusiasm he exudes are what make him an indispensable member of the group.
Brooklynn:
Who needs a last name being the star of the most popular travel and lifestyle video blog on social media? Brooklynn is one of the most famous 13-year-old girls in the world. She got her ticket to the Cretaceous Camp in exchange for recounting her experience there and posting it for her millions of followers to see. Brooklynn has visited some of the most luxurious places in the world, but has also traveled to some of the most dangerous and remote destinations.
Kenji Kon:
Handsome and daring, that’s Kenji. The self-proclaimed “alpha male” of the group projects the self-confidence of someone born into a good family who hopes to go far in life thanks to his last name. Since his parents are major investors in Jurassic Park, Kenji travels there often and is thoroughly familiar with the park and its miraculous dinosaurs.
Yasmina «Yaz» Fadoula:
Yaz is the strongest and fittest camper (heptathlon champion and junior gymnast, no less), so she’s delighted with the outdoor opportunities that Isla Nublar offers, even though it takes a world for her to open up to her peers. . This is because the life of an elite athlete like her is disciplined and lonely, which is why Yaz lacks the social skills to help her relate to others.
Sammy Gutiérrez:
Sammy is sociable and outgoing, and being at Camp Cretaceous excites her, which she makes very clear. Sammy’s passion for life and new experiences is contagious, because despite being so launched, he has no interest in dominating the group; she just wants to make friends with everyone.
Ben Pincus:
Ben is horrified by nature. He is a sensitive and book-loving boy for whom the island is a bad dream full of dirt, germs, insects and creatures that — he is convinced — crave to eat him (a justified impression). His parents see the experience in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous as an opportunity for Ben to cut back and overcome his fears. But what for others would be a dream come true, for Ben is an absolute nightmare.

Trailer
” We welcome you to the most incredible adventure place in the world: Cretaceous Camp! Join our campers as they live face to face with dinosaurs, ” posted the production along with the video that shows scenes from the series accompanied by the classic music of the first movie of 1993.The saga will have eight 22-minute episodes and will be released on September 18 . Dreamworks and Steven Spielberg are producing the installment. After the success of ‘Jurassic Park’ in the early nineties, the saga took up the story in 2015 with ‘Jurassic World’ and in 2018 with ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’. Between them, they raised about 3,000 million dollars around the world and motivated a new version, this time in the form of an animated series.
What ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ will be about
The story will develop in parallel to the adventures that we could observe in the 2015 film, ‘Jurassic World’ and will have 8 episodes of 22 minutes each and will be available on September 18 through Netflix.
The synopsis details that the protagonists will also be affected by the consequences caused by the dinosaurs out of control, which will make them soon discover that their lives depend on what they themselves and what their companions can do.
Cut off from the outside world, these strangers must become friends and then family as they band together to ward off dinosaurs and reveal secrets so dark they could affect the entire world.
Thus, the science fiction novel by Michael Crichton released in 1990, which created a wonderful world where humans and dinosaurs coexist, remains more relevant than ever.
