Black Widow: RELEASE DATE, CAST, TRAILER, PLOT AND ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

According to a new report, the premiere of Black Widow is not so close, the film that would arrive in November of this year decided to move its date to 2021. Marvel continues with its plans to take it to the cinema, but it will not be in 2020.

As you all know by now, Black Widow is a solo movie of Scarlett Johansson’s character that takes place in those lost years after the events of Captain America: Civil War and is not connected to the rest of the events of Phase 4 (although it is already said that it will be the starting point to introduce Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova as the new Black Widow).

This is one of the most anticipated films (and Marvel took too long to make it) and everything seems to indicate that Marvel really wants it to hit theaters, but, after the rumor (from the same source that revealed that Mulan would arrive at Disney +) that assured that Black Widow could also be released exclusively on the Disney streaming platform, it is said that now we will have to wait until May 7, 2021 to see it.

The site We Got This Covered explains that the rumor of the premiere on Disney + comes from a reliable source and that the news of Mulan obviously increases the possibility that Black Widow will end up following in her footsteps, despite everyone keeping their fingers crossed that the The industry will have already recovered so that the film can be released in November of this year.

What do we know about Black Widow?

After weeks of rumors, conspiracy theories and leaks, Marvel finally showed a first look at the solo movie of Scarlett Johansson’s character and, far from being an origin story as previously thought, it was actually a reunion, a meeting between Natasha and her old companions (she calls Florence Pugh’s character sister , which gives us to understand that they both went to the same spy school) to fight a new enemy.

We can see a bit of Natasha’s past, there is a small scene where you see a group of dancers that are a reference to those old KGB Russian spy training programs, but also a lot of action, fights and hits, with a Comedic touch from Stranger Things’ Hopper himself, who appears to be the “dad” of Natasha’s family’s team of heroines.

It’s clear this is a movie to celebrate Black Widow in all his glory and honor the sacrifice he made in Endgame.

In addition to that first action-packed trailer, Marvel has just released a special teaser in which they let us see a little more of that mysterious masked villain that Natasha is going to face upon her return to her country.

The trailer asks who exactly is Taskmaster? Where do your skills come from? And what does he want with the runaway Avenger? At the moment, the questions are unanswered, although we know that Taskmaster has the ability to mimic the abilities of anyone he comes into contact with, but that is part of the mystery that Natasha is going to have to solve if she wants to survive.

What does the first trailer reveal?

Many of the movie scenes were shot in Budapest, which plays an important role in Black Widow’s story in the MCU.

Remember that in The Avengers, Black Widow and Hawkeye shared some jokes about how fighting the Chitauri reminded them of Budapest, and in Avengers: Endgame, the two shared a mission on planet Vormir, and Hawkeye joked about how they were “very away from Budapest “. This could indicate that this was the place where the two characters first met, and that means there is a possibility of having a flashback showing that.

The Black Widow trailer also features Florence Pugh as another Black Widow and Rachel Weisz as another KGB veteran, meaning there could be more like them and they were part of an intense training program.

Is it the end of Black Widow?

The trailer contains some Avegrens easter eggs showing some of the most important moments of Natasha’s career, many fans believe this means that this will be the last time we will see her in action and that Florence Pugh could take her place inside the MCU.

Pugh plays Yelena Belova, who was also trained as a Russian spy on the same show as Natasha, and she might be the one to take her place in the MCU after the movie.

What will happen in the movie?

The trailer shows us that Black Widow is on the run from someone , possibly the authorities after Captain America: Civil War , in which she became a fugitive after disobeying orders and allowing Captain America and the Winter Soldier to escape.

Marvel is said to have filmed these shots at the Macon terminal station , but it’s designed to look like Albany in New York . Also, we finally see Natasha rally her old team to fight a new masked villain.

The Black Widow trailer also confirms that William Hurt is back as General Thunderbolt Ross , but he appears in a younger version, meaning he may have previously featured in Black Widow’s life and this is all about a flashback. Ross will likely be in charge of conducting the search for Natasha Romanoff today, as he is in charge of enforcing the Sokovia Accords.

When it premieres?

Black Widow has a new release date for May 2021, this after being delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.
