Sony has released the second trailer for its highly-anticipated film, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” providing fans with a more detailed look into the “elite crew with all the best Spider-people.”
The nearly three-minute trailer features Miles Morales/Spider-Man’s encounter with The Spot, a multiverse-traversing entity, as well as the introduction of new Spider-people by Gwen Stacy at a building reminiscent of Citadel of Ricks. Additionally, the trailer showcases a more extended scene of Oscar Isaac’s Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099 challenging Miles’ moral and ethical values.
Returning voice cast members include Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Luna Lauren Velez, and Brian Tyree Henry, while newcomers Issa Rae, Oscar Isaac, and Daniel Kaluuya join the cast as Spider-Woman, Spider-Man 2099, and Spider-Punk, respectively.
The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Justin K. Thompson, and Powers, with Lord and Miller co-writing alongside Dave Callaham.
The production team includes Lord, Miller, Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, and Christina Steinberg, while Peter Ramsey, Bob Persichetti, Aditya Sood, Rodney Rothman, Rebecca Karch, and Brian Bendis serve as executive producers.
