Casio G-Shock: The new GST-B100 is so elegant

A black dial with gold accents: the new Casio G-Shock is more elegant than ever. The watch is not only robust and shockproof as usual, but also has an ion-coated bezel that offers special protection against scratching. The hard, scratch-resistant mineral glass also protects the watch from unsightly damage.

Casio G-Shock: The new GST-B100 in detail

The case of the Casio GST-B100 is made of a combination of stainless steel and the synthetic resin resin, which makes the watch robust and at the same time lighter. The bracelet is also made of the extremely durable and flexible material and has a pin buckle. The particular eye-catcher of the new G-Shock, however, is the black dial with gold hands, indices and other details. These are coated and glow in the dark if the watch was previously exposed to a light source. The crown and stoppers are also gold-plated.

As far as the technical details are concerned, the new GST-B100 also has a lot to offer: The watch is equipped with energy-saving Bluetooth technology that enables energy-saving data exchange at the push of a button. The watch can be wirelessly connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth. Should you ever misplace it, you can find it again with the help of the Phone Finder: a push of a button on the watch and the mobile phone sends an alarm.

The Casio G-Shock is operated with solar cells, among other things. Surplus solar energy will be stored in a battery. So that you always have an eye on the time even in poor lighting conditions, the clock display is illuminated by a light-emitting diode at the push of a button. The watch has been tested for water resistance up to 20 bar in accordance with ISO 22810.

The G-Shock GST-B100GC-1A has these indicators:

  • World time function up to 29 different time zones
  • Dual time display
  • Date and weekday display
  • Daily alarm
  • Automatic calendar with date, month and day of the week
  • 12/24 hour format
  • Timer – 1/1 min. – 24 hours

The new G-Shock GST-B100GC-1A will be available at the end of February for 379 euros on the Casio website.
