Musk overtook Bezos again to become the richest man in the world

Tesla founder Elon Musk again became the richest man in the world overtaking Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for the second time since the beginning of the year.

According to the agency, during the day Musk’s fortune increased by $ 9.2 billion and is estimated at $ 200 billion. The agency estimates Bezos’s fortune at $ 194 billion (plus $ 1 billion), he again dropped to second place.

This was preceded by another round of placement of securities of SpaceX, whose founder and CEO is Musk. As CNBC reported, citing sources, the company raised $ 850 million as a result, and its total value rose to $ 74 billion.

For the first time, Musk climbed to the first line of the rating in early January, amid growth in Tesla shares by 5.38%. Then the entrepreneur’s fortune was estimated at $ 188.5 billion. By mid-February, Bezos regained his leading position, losing it, however, after only two days.

According to the current state of the Bloomberg rating , the third place in the list is occupied by the founder of Microsoft Bill Gates with a fortune of $ 136 billion, followed by the head of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy Bernard Arnault ($ 115 billion) and the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg ($ 102 billion).
