Putin cancels trip to Stavropol Krai in response to reports that ‘Ukrainian saboteurs’ have entered the Bryansk region

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday Vladimir Putin had canceled a planned trip to the Stavropol Region in light of events in Russia’s Bryansk Region, where Russian officials said “Ukrainian saboteurs” had invaded the country.

Putin is scheduled to attend a ceremony marking this year as Russia’s “Teacher Year”. According to Peskov, Putin will now participate in the ceremony online.
