The speaker of the City Council of Tobolsk Andrei Khodosevich congratulated those present at the official event in honor of the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow on the outbreak of the war. A video of his speech was published by URA.RU in his VKontakte community.
On frames, Khodosevich says that the country recalls compatriots who died during the Great Patriotic War for the freedom and independence of the state. “Well, with a holiday, and at the same time with the outbreak of war of all,” he says.
Later, Khodosevich explained, his commentary on the Moscow Says radio station was conveyed by an official representative of the Tobolsk City Duma. Khodosevich explained that he spoke at the opening of the Alley of Heroes of the Soviet Union in Tobolsk. He experienced “excitement and pride for the fellow countrymen who played a role” in the victory in the Great Patriotic War, because of which he made a reservation.
In February, the governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler also made a reservation in his speech to veterans and wished that “every family was affected by the war”. The press service of the head of the region explained that Pasler was worried during a speech at the concert in honor of the start of the Year of Remembrance and Glory, but those present in the hall understood that this was a reservation and supported him with applause.
