Abramov noted that the amendments that have come into force establish the priority of electronic registration of the results of registration of verification and approval of types of measuring instruments. According to him, such registration will be the only legally significant confirmation of the results of metrological work. At the same time, paper certificates on the verification of meters will be issued only at the request of users, they will be of an informational nature, the head of the department said.

The results of metrological work will be transferred to the Federal Information Fund for Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements (FSIS “Arshin”). Without this, they will not be valid, Abramov added.
