Tom Sizemore, known for his roles in films such as “Saving Private Ryan” and “Black Hawk Down,” has passed away at the age of 61. The news was confirmed by Sizemore’s manager Charles Lago, who stated that the actor died after being taken off life support. Lago added that Sizemore passed away peacefully in his sleep at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank, with his brother Paul and twin boys Jayden and Jagger at his side.
On February 27, 2023, Lago had revealed that doctors informed Sizemore’s family that there was no further hope and recommended end-of-life decision. The actor had suffered from a brain aneurysm on February 18, 2023, which led to his collapse at his Los Angeles home. He was then taken to the hospital by paramedics and had remained in critical condition in a coma under intensive care.
In a statement, Sizemore’s brother Paul expressed his deep sadness at the loss of his “big brother Tom.” Sizemore’s passing marks a loss for the entertainment industry, as well as for his family, friends, and fans who admired his work over the years.
