Glasgow Bus Crash: Child Among Ten Hospitalized as Roof is Torn Off
In a recent incident in Glasgow, a double-decker bus had its roof ripped off, resulting in ten individuals, including a child, being taken to the hospital. The crash occurred at 11:35 on Sunday when the bus collided with a bridge on Cook Street near the O2 venue.
The Scottish Ambulance Service reported that one patient was transferred to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. Additionally, five others were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, while four received treatment at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Emergency services attended to several more individuals at the scene.

A spokesperson from the Scottish Ambulance Service stated, “We deployed twelve resources, including the Special Operations Resource Team and the Trauma Team.”
First Bus, the company involved, confirmed that it was one of their buses implicated in the incident. A company spokesperson expressed their concern, saying, “Our thoughts are with those affected by the incident.”
