How To Create A Group In Google Duo

This is how to create a group in Google Duo.

I have been using Google lately, and while I love the search engine overall, I find Duo to be an excellent online business tool. The ability to stay connected to clients and prospects without having to leave the office is huge. Google’s email service is great, as is their internal chat system. It’s all a matter of how you use them to your advantage.

The first step is to go to Duo and sign up.

There is a simple group signup process, and once you do that you can immediately start getting into group discussions. If you are unfamiliar with the way Google Group works, it is very easy to get caught up and don’t know how to get started. Luckily it’s very easy to follow.

First you go to the Groups tab on the left hand side of the page. From there you can click on New, and then select Create Group. You will be asked to choose a name for the group, create a description of the group (how you would like people to find you within the group), fill in the members you’d like to invite, and then finally choose a size (either a small group or a large group depending on how many people you want to invite). Once you complete these steps, you’re done!

The second step on how to create a group in Google Duo is to fill in the description text for your group.

This is how your followers will get access to your group conversations, and what people will be able to see about your business. This is especially important in case you have a video you’d like to share about your services or your products/services. You will also need to set the public visibility options so that other people can see your group conversations. It’s pretty much the same process as before, but this time you’ll need to go to the link you created in the public visibility section to get your instructions. Finally, to finish off your group discussions in Google Duo, you will be given the option to invite others to join your group.

So those are the three simple steps to how to create a group in Google Duo. It wasn’t too difficult, was it? Now that you’ve completed the steps, you should be ready to get started setting up your group discussions with your friends and family. And if by some chance you haven’t already created one, don’t worry – Duo includes all of the tools you need to get your group up and running. The easiest part was finding a Group (Google Group is the one you’ll be most familiar with) and following the directions.
