How to remove a stain from my white t-shirt?

Because you always stain your favorite white t-shirt with tomato sauce or even wine, here are some tips to eliminate them permanently.

Let’s face it, there is nothing more annoying than finding yourself with a stain on your immaculate white t-shirt . Usually, it is done in the middle of it as well, which makes it impossible to conceal. And once we wash our clothes, we have a one in two chance of succeeding in eliminating it and we end up throwing that umpteenth white t-shirt in the trash or by repainting it. So, to avoid polluting the planet and help you keep your new favorite white t-shirt, here are some personalized tips to remove the most recurring stains. And all this with what you will find at home.

# 1 The blood

That’s it, because of the air conditioning, your nose is bleeding. In two steps three movements, here you are with a red speckled t-shirt. How to remove it? We quickly put under cold water and rub preferably with Marseille soap. If the blood has had time to dry, you can use lemon juice, before putting it in the machine with your usual detergent. We avoid bleach so as not to make any marks and make the stain yellowish rather than red… This is not necessarily better.

# 2 Tomato

We love this summer tomato-mozzarella salad, except a drop of fruit juice on his white t-shirt and he’s done. Worse, the tomato sauce in our pasta Bolognese. To remove the stain, you have to be courageous because it is one of the foods that resists the most. We need its baking soda, lemon juice and Marseille soap to get through it. To apply one after the other, in layer and by rubbing, before putting your t-shirt in the machine in the normal cycle, with our usual detergent, the stain should disappear.

# 3 The wine

The evening goes wonderfully until your friend spills half of his glass of wine on your t-shirt. What to do ? The important thing is not to cook the stain in hot water, so it is imperative to soak it in cold water and we rub the stain with Marseille soap before turning the t-shirt in the machine at 40 degrees. . The stain should go away if you act immediately. If you have cornstarch on hand or talcum powder instead, cover the stain with it and wait for it to soak in and dry before gently brushing and machine washing.

# 4 And how do you keep it from turning gray or yellow?

Do you see those yellow spots in the armpits? It’s your sweat and it’s not very tasty. To remove them or to prevent them from becoming encrusted, again, the best remedy is Marseille soap and lemon juice. In case your t-shirt turns gray, use baking soda that you add to your regular laundry.
