A series of missile strikes originating from Russia targeted various locations across Ukraine on Wednesday, including the capital Kyiv, resulting in the deaths of six individuals and causing injuries to at least 16 others.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky conveyed the gravity of the situation on Telegram, stating, “Our country is facing yet another extensive assault. Six regions have been subjected to enemy attacks, and all our services are actively engaged in addressing the aftermath of this act of terror.” Zelensky added that three casualties occurred in Kyiv, expressing concern that additional individuals might still be trapped beneath the debris.
