0

Saudi Arabia signed agreements worth $400 million with Ukraine after the kingdomโ€™s foreign minister surprisedly visited Kyiv.

Sirens sounded across Ukraine for hours early this morning, signaling a drone attack from Russia. At least one person was killed, according to preliminary reports.

Vladimir Putin said NATO arms supplies to Ukraine make the alliance a โ€œparticipantโ€ in the conflict. Itโ€™s not a new thought, but Russiaโ€™s president hasn’t followed through on, even as Western allies provide Kyiv with more sophisticated armaments.

How to Find What’s Trending: 7 Tools for Topic Inspiration in 2023

0

One of the most effective ways to engage with your audience is to incorporate trending topics into your editorial and social media calendars.

Not everything you post has to be related to current events, but using trending topics strategically allows you to drive search waves across search and social platforms.

Here are 14 of the best resources to help you discover trends.

7. Buzzsumo

The best community managers have sophisticated systems for listening to trending social media topics for their industry.

Buzzsumo has long been one of the best-in-class tools to help you identify viral content on social channels and has moved into additional content detection areas, including video and Q&A sites.

If you’re looking for the most popular video content in your industry, Buzzsumo can show you the most popular content on YouTube.

6. Podcast Notes

Podcasts are the unsung heroes of identifying hot topics. Podcasting is a $1 billion industry estimated to gain 10% more listeners yearly. This is a great opportunity to identify hot topics for your customers or business.

Unfortunately, podcasts take up much time and attention and aren’t ideal for everyone.

Podcast Notes solves the problem of identifying key insights from each podcast in a quick bulletin format.

If you don’t have time to listen to more than 10 podcasts a week, Podcast News will cover topics like fitness, nutrition, startups, technology, finance, crypto, and lifestyle.

5. Feedly

Once you’ve identified the top posts or news sources your audience is subscribed to, this tool is one of the best for gathering the latest news in one place.

Feedly is one of the most powerful tools to identify trending topics and stay up to date with your industry by displaying the latest stories published by your curated list.

Feedly also has valuable paid features such as following newsletters, Twitter or Google News feeds. Or use AI-based bots that listen for specific topics on the internet.

4. FrontPageMetrics

There are Reddit threads for almost every area of โ€‹โ€‹interest. Frontpagemetrics.com is helpful in identifying which subreddits have the highest daily, weekly, and monthly growth.

With over 3 million subreddits following, there are plenty of rabbit holes to help inspire your content roadmap.

3. SparkToro Trending

When Inbound.org closed, Sparktoro filled an important gap for marketers.

Trending Sparktoro features the latest trending articles on marketing, SEO and technology.

Sparktoro recognizes this trend based on the number of social shares members have (among other things) interacted with the tool.

2. Exploding Topics

This tool is useful for entrepreneurs, investors or those who want to identify trending business ideas, categories or companies.

Exploding Topics don’t provide as much context as other trending topic tools, so you’ll need to subscribe to their newsletter or use this tool with other agencies to understand trends fully.

1. Google Trends

Google Trends is the gold standard for identifying trending search topics in your industry.

It tracks global search trends and offers a wealth of data broken down by time period, geographic location, category, search type (e.g., web search vs. YouTube) and more.

One of the most recent improvements to Google Trends over the last few years is its inclusion in Google Search. Google has become the destination not only for typing search queries, but also for reading breaking news stories based on your interests.

New kissing device lets you smooch over the internet

0

Thanks to modern technology, people can work remotely, study remotely, and now you can even hug remotely!

A new invention from China lets you blow kisses to loved ones during a video call using any device connected to the app.

The device is shaped like a pair of silicone lips and contains pressure sensors and actuators to reproduce the movements of the interlocutor.

It can even repeat the sound each caller makes when kissing.

The devices are touted on social media as a way for couples to share “real” physical intimacy.

However, the app also includes a feature that lets you join your lips with a stranger in a “corner kiss.”

The creator says his invention was inspired by his long-distance relationship.

It sells for 288 yuan – about $41.

Mercedes-Benz is bringing WebEx meetings to the new E-Class sedans

0

Earlier this month, Mercedes-Benz offered a closer look at the new E-Class sedan’s interior and luxury dashboard. Car looks great so far! It has an electric powertrain and a ton of technology, including level 3 autonomous driving support and a slew of apps you’ll have to pay extra to use. Cars also seem to be a convenient means of transportation. It may be so fortunate that you want to turn your vehicle into a mobile office.

If that’s the case, then you’re in luck. Mercedes-Benz has partnered with Cisco to bring Webex Meetings and Calling and Webex AI audio capabilities to the new E-Classโ€”everything the busy worker needs to stay calm. They announced the collaboration at last week’s E-Class event and revealed more details at Mobile World Congress. “This partnership will help people get their work done safely and comfortably in their vehicles,” the company said in a press release. It definitely looks better than getting things done in the office, at home, or at the coffee shop.

When you need to get to a meeting behind the wheel, which I hope is rare, the company claims to offer “best-in-class noise cancellation” thanks to its Webex Audio Intelligence technology. Discussions and conversations are audio only unless you’re parked. If so, you can access video conferencing, AI-powered transcription, content sharing features, and emoji reactions. There will be a Webex app in the Mercedes Benz Car App Store, while the built-in WiFi and mobile data connection means you won’t need a phone to attend meetings. That is the epitome of living the dream, at least for someone.

To be honest, there are some use cases where Webex makes sense in a car. Mercedes and Cisco suggest that while an architect might need to call colleagues immediately after leaving the workplace, someone might need to attend a meeting straight after dropping the kids off at school. The conference call must have been in the car.

This isn’t the first time dating apps have invaded the car. Webex now supports CarPlay and Microsoft Teams. Webex is also available on some Ford models. If you really want to experience the Webex encounter behind the wheel of the 2023 E-Class, you might be pleased to know that you’ll have the chance to do so when the sedan hits dealerships in the spring.

10 simple healthy habits that will change your life in 2023

0

Today we dive into one of my favorite topics: habit building.

Yes my friend is a real expert in building habits, and I love studying, reading and implementing new habits into my daily life to improve my life.

These 10 Simple Healthy Habits That Will Change Your Life are some of my favorite habits that I have implemented in my daily life that have significantly impacted my energy, mindset and health.

1. Make your bed in the morning
I picked up this habit from Tim Ferriss after reading his book The Four Hour Workweek. It may not seem like much, but making your bed in the morning can give you a small sense of accomplishment and set you up for the rest of the day. This simple task can also trigger a series of other good decisions throughout the day. So be friends in bed!

2. Develop a morning routine
It can look different for everyone. Maybe it’s for you to practice yoga every morning, keep a journal over a cup of coffee, or maybe take some time to sit down and have breakfast with your family.

Either way, a morning routine will give you time to yourself to start your day off with the right boost and energy. It may also be the only time you are alone all day, so enjoy it!

3. Schedule time to exercise

Our busy schedules make it easy to miss the workout you want to do after work. Instead of planning to work out when you “have time,” schedule your activities into your calendar.

Exercise is essential for a healthy body and brain, especially when you spend most of the day at a desk. Taking time to exercise will not only help you stay more focused throughout your workday, it will also help improve your sleep, energy and stress levels. (I like to incorporate time for exercise into my morning routine.)

5. Drink more water

PLEASE! Most people don’t drink enough, but water is important for our mood, immune system, and overall health. Staying hydrated with lots of water (no sugary sodas, water) will greatly affect how you feel.

Drink a full glass of water in the morning to rehydrate and keep a reusable water bottle on your desk to hydrate throughout the day. Are you tired of water? Spice it up by adding a slice of lemon or orange, mint or fresh cucumber!

6. Begin meditation practice
Don’t worry; meditation may sound a bit intimate, but taking at least a few minutes each day to sit, breathe, and be still can substantially impact your life.

We live in a world where we are constantly stressed and activate stress hormones, which can negatively affect our health. Taking time to breathe and meditate will help you de-stress and signal your body that you are safe.

If you’re new to meditation, start with just 1 minute of deep breathing each day or try a guided meditation app like Headspace.

Keep your space organized.
Ordered space = organized mind. Keeping your space clean and organized will put your mind at ease. Keeping your area organized also makes it easier to see what resources you have and saves time in the long run. (No more endless searching for that notebook you know you’ve stored somewhere!)

7. Express gratitude
You can express gratitude by saying what you’re grateful for out loud or by writing it down in a journal. (I love the 5 Minute Journal) Expressing gratitude has been shown to change your brain chemistry to focus more on the positive things in your life, become more mindful, and give more to others.

8. Use visualization
I recently started incorporating this habit into my daily life after watching a documentary on Food Matters TV. If you envision a future situation, your mind will record it. (Basically, we can trick our brains into believing that the problem already “happened.” Isn’t that great?)

I’m not saying that the idea of โ€‹โ€‹riding a unicorn on Mars will actually happen, but using this technique is a great way to overcome any limiting beliefs you may have about yourself and move you toward your goal.

9. Get your daily dose of nature
Are you feeling stressed and anxious? GO OUT. (but like a total misfitโ€ฆ don’t walk the streets of Times Square.)

Spending time in nature can instantly restore energy and relieve stress. Nothing is more peaceful and natural than spending time among the trees and basking in the sun.

I incorporate this into my morning routine and take my dog โ€‹โ€‹for a walk on the forest trail every morning before starting the day.

10. Make time for downtime
Life can be busy; trust me, I know. But as the saying goes, we are not here to pay the bills and die. So don’t forget to take time to do things that make you happy.

Make time for a lunch date with friends, a hike in the mountains, or a trip to Thailand that you’d like to take. Give yourself permission to enjoy life.

Top 7 Fitness Tips for staying motivated in 2023

0

Have you ever started a fitness program and then stopped? If you answered yes, you’re not alone. Many people start a fitness program but may stop if they get bored, don’t like it, or the results are too slow. Here are seven tips to help keep you motivated.

1. Set goals
Start with simple goals and then move on to long term goals. Remember to make your goals realistic and achievable. It’s easy to get frustrated and give up when your goals are too ambitious.

For example, if you haven’t exercised in a while, a short-term goal might be walking 10 minutes daily, five days a week. Even short workouts can have benefits. An intermediate goal could be walking 30 minutes five days a week. A long term goal might be to complete a 5K run.

For most healthy adults, the Department of Health and Human Services recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity per week, or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity. A greater amount of exercise will yield more significant benefits. Try incorporating strength training for all major muscle groups into your fitness routine at least twice a week.

2. Make it fun
Find a sport or activity you enjoy and vary the routine to make it enjoyable. If you don’t enjoy your workout, try something else. Join a volleyball or softball league. Take a ballroom dance class. Visit a gym or martial arts center. If you like exercising at home, look online for videos of different types of exercise, such as yoga, high-intensity interval training, or kickboxing. Or take a walk or run in a local park. Find your hidden sports talent or interest.

Remember that exercise doesn’t have to be boring, and you’re more likely to stick to a fitness program if you enjoy it.

3. Make physical activity a part of your daily routine
If you’re having difficulty finding time to exercise, stop making excuses. Plan your workout like any other important activity.

You can also do physical activity throughout the day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator or park farther away from the store. Walk up and down the ledges watching the kids play sports. Go for a walk during breaks from work.

If you work from home, stretch, walk, or take the stairs during your breaks. Or do squats, lunges, or sit-ups. Take your dog if you have one. During your lunch break or while watching TV in the evening, pedal a stationary bicycle, walk or jog on a treadmill, or do weight training.

Research shows that prolonged periods of sitting can negatively affect your health, even if you do the recommended weekly activity. If you sit for several hours a day at work, take regular breaks during the day for exercise, such as walking. B. drinking water or standing during a phone call or video conference.

4. Put it on the paper
Are you hoping to lose weight? Increase your energy? Sleep is better? Dealing with a chronic illness? Write down your goals. Seeing the benefits of regular exercise and writing down your goals can help keep you motivated.

Keeping an exercise journal can also help. Write down what you did during each workout, how long you worked out, and how you felt afterward. Recording your efforts and tracking your progress can help you work towards your goals and remind you that you are making progress.

5. Join friends, neighbors or others
You are not alone in this. Invite friends or colleagues to exercise or go out with you. Exercise with your partner or other loved one. Play soccer with your kids. Arrange for neighbors to take a fitness class at a local gym or work out virtually via video.

Reward yourself
After each exercise, take a few minutes to enjoy the good feeling the exercise gives you. This type of internal reward can help you make a long-term commitment to regular exercise.

Extrinsic rewards can also help. When you reach a more distant goal, treat yourself to a new pair of hiking boots or a new song while you train.

7. Be flexible
Take a day or two if you’re too busy to exercise or don’t feel like exercising. Stay calm when you need rest. The important thing is to get back on track as quickly as possible.

Now that you’ve got your enthusiasm back get moving! Set goals, have fun, and give yourself the occasional compliment. Remember that physical activity is lifelong. Check out these tips if you feel your motivation is slipping.

6 Habits That Will Help You Build Mental Strength

0

Fitness gets a lot of attention, and for a good reason โ€“ good physical health can prevent diseases such as heart disease or diabetes and help you live a long independent life. What is often overlooked, however, is mental fitness – a healthy, strong mind that allows you to face life’s challenges and opportunities.

The importance of a fit mind

It is a common belief that the absence of mental disorders means a person is mentally healthy and emotionally healthy, but according to Rachel O’Neill, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, this is a dangerous misconception. “A person can certainly experience periods of stress, discomfort, sadness, or anxiety without meeting the criteria for a mental disorder,” he said. “Mental health is a process, and like physical health, it is an ongoing process of maintaining mental and emotional health.”

Not surprisingly, moments of exam or stress can be the final test of mental fitness. Speedy recovery requires significant mental strength and resilience when overwhelmed by major life events. The benefits of mental fitness mean that we can use our mental abilities to the fullest, which allows us to be more creative, make the most of opportunities and deal with stressful situations more easily and with less anxiety.

So what can you do to improve your mental fitness?

1.Focus on one thing at a time

Multitasking is worn as a badge of honor, but too much multitasking is unhealthy. Practice attending. As you walk, be aware of your surroundings โ€“ the weather and birds. When you spend time with friends, listen carefully to what they say. Turn off your phone and try to forget the current to-do list in your head.

2. Take time to move your body

“Physical and mental health go hand in hand and should not be looked at in isolation, because poor mental health can lead to poor physical health and vice versa,” says Kimberly Leitch, a therapist at Talkspace, based in New York.

Mental health is a process, and like physical health, it is an ongoing process of maintaining mental and emotional health.

Like drugs used to treat mental illness, exercise can increase brain serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine levels. It grows and normalizes neurotransmitter levels, which ultimately helps us feel mentally healthy. Other key benefits include: improved mood and energy, reduced stress, deeper relaxation, increased mental clarity, learning, insight, memory and cognitive function, increased intuition, creativity, confidence and enthusiasm for life, and improved health and social relationships , increase self-esteem, Respect and enhanced spiritual connection.

3. Give yourself a daily “mindfulness break.”

Say O’Neill, take a minute or two each day to relax, connect with your body, and assess how you’re feeling. “There are a number of great apps that can help you incorporate structured mindfulness exercises, or you can develop exercises that work for you.”

Just one week of short daily mindfulness meditation practices has produced significant increases in alertness, energy, and stress levels. Research shows that these benefits are more than subjective: Study participants experienced a marked decrease in stress-driven cortisol and an increase in their immune system. They also show improvements in visuo-spatial processing, working memory and executive function – critical mental skills that help you get things done faster.

4. Make time for “self-care.”

Give yourself an afternoon or evening to do something you really enjoy. That could be working out, reading, watching your favorite series – basically, going out on dates with yourself for fun just for you.

5. Set boundaries and stick to them.

Living in a success-oriented society has its advantages. But there are also downsides like burnout, which is a real problem when trying to have it all: a fulfilling career, Instagram-worthy time with friends, and a happy family life. Remember that sometimes it’s okay to say no. Set boundaries in your professional and personal life as much as possible, so you don’t overdo it.

6. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

Seeking help is often the first step to getting and staying healthy, but it can be difficult to know where to start or where to turn. It’s widespread to feel insecure and wonder if you should try to work it out alone.

Remember that sometimes it’s okay to say no.

“But simply put, there’s never a wrong time to seek help,” says O’Neill. “Talking to someone about your thoughts and feelings can always help you gain insights that may be helpful in your life. When you’re going through a stressful period or feeling angry, irritable, sad, or a little frustrated, seeking professional help to manage these feelings can be a good call.

Mental fitness doesn’t have to take a lot of time. Taking a few minutes daily can make you feel better and think more clearly. Remember that relaxation is as important in mental training as more intense activities such as memory or physical exercises.

How to Be Strong Mentally in 2023

0

Stormy times surround us. There are no guarantees and more uncertainty than ever. The key to coping with this restless world is learning to tolerate uncertainty and regulate our emotions. Mentally strong people have learned to cultivate both of these mindsets.

1) Mentally strong people are adaptable and open to new insights. ย They don’t cling to existing beliefs if they no longer seem valid or relevant.

2) Mentally strong people are afraid, but don’t let it stop them from moving forward. Moving can be scary and uncomfortable, but a mentally strong person understands that every struggle allows more strength to be gained. Staying in fear doesn’t help you overcome limiting beliefs about the world. This makes them real and powerful.

500

Being brave enough to go against the grain, speak out, and stand out despite resistance and rejection is critical to growing and testing your parameters.

Most of our problems are caused by our distorted thinking. We learn by observing our parents and other influential role models. We know from society and the media. Not everything we learn is true or balanced. It pays to think critically – to evaluate information for yourself before you believe something.

3) Mentally strong people self-determination. They don’t allow other people to tell them who they are, whether they are capable or not, or what may or may not be possible for them in their life. Mentally strong people decide for themselves because their opinion of themselves is more important than that of other people.

Most of our suffering comes from a discrepancy between how we imagine life and how we actually live. The adage “It’s not bad being that way” is probably a saying most of us utter at some point in our lives. Accepting what is can change everything. Let go of resistance and deal with it as it is. Just because things don’t go according to plan doesn’t mean they are lost.

Be philosophical – maybe for some reason or higher purpose, as it should be nowโ€ฆ

4) Mentally strong people are not obsessed with always being happy. Happiness can present itself when we least expect it. It could also be a moment. The chemical burst of endorphins and the increase in serotonin are activated by small events like laughing with friends or jumping in the park. Happiness is specific to each individual, not by general consensus. If your idea of โ€‹โ€‹pure happiness is sucking pumpkin seeds in your shed on a rainy day, who has the right to deny that or tell you it isn’t true happiness? Stay centered and know what makes you happy, but don’t obsess. The hunt seems to make it even more elusive.

The mind is more powerful in dealing with specific situations and circumstances than the actual situation itself. How we perceive a situation has a tremendous impact on the quality of our life. We can soak in negative, toxic thoughts or build and nurture our resilience by adopting an optimistic attitude. This is easier said than done, but it was worth the effort.

5) Mentally strong people have strong minds – they don’t follow the crowd blindly. They break the rules (not laws) but have a good sense of right and wrong.

6) People who are mentally strong also understand that hatred and revenge do not harm those who are hated. They only hurt the haters. Empathy and understanding separate animals from humans; we need to use these abilities to make our lives run smoothly. Being judgmental can be toxic and lead to bigotry. Keep an open mind and remember that most people make mistakes. Try not always to think the worst of other people. It affects you and your beliefs in the world, not the people you don’t trust.

7) Finally, a mentally strong person is fully responsible for his current position. They understand that their past choices, thoughts, and actions led them to where they are today. They don’t blame others for making decisions, even if they are passive. For example โ€“ blaming your ex for all your problems while you are still stuck with that person, perhaps on a subconscious or anxious level.

You are stronger than you think. We dilute our personal power by allowing self-doubt and limiting beliefs in ourselves to prevent us from being true to ourselves. Believe in yourself, be kind, compassionate, and tolerant, and see the world in your own way.

Top 4 Self Care Improvment Tips in 2023

0

The joy (and hate) about New Year’s resolutions will probably not go away anytime soon. Contrary to popular belief, setting goals for yourself at the start of each year doesn’t have to involve significant changes. The little things often make the most crucial difference in how we feel each day, even though they’re also some of the easiest to ignore. So instead of worrying about expensive memberships or rigid quotas, here are four small changes you can make to get you through 2023 and beyond.

Prioritize sleep.

Reaching the famous eight hours is often easier said than done, and there is much debate about the ideal bedtime and morning alarm clock. While it’s not always realistic to expect a perfect night’s sleep without a hiccup here and thereโ€”especially when your schedule is hecticโ€”just changing your mindset can help bring you closer to your most rested self. When we put sleep at the top of our to-do list, we don’t waste timeโ€”it keeps us energized and productive in the long run. Estimates of how many hours an adult needs vary, but there is a universal answer. Try keeping a sleep journal or using a fitness tracker or smartwatch to see which works best.

Fight back against the winter blues.

If your mood changes with the seasons and shorter days and colder weather let you down, you’re not alone. For some people, it can even take the form of seasonal affective disorder (SAD), according to the National Institute of Mental Health. Lack of sunlight is a major factor in our tendency to feel gloomy or disinterested during winter. Try to get outside when you can, or just open your curtains to let in some light. You may also find that using a light therapy or taking a vitamin D supplement is helpful; Be sure to talk to your doctor and/or psychologist about what strategies might be good for your situation. And remember that while the cold days of January and February may seem long, spring is coming!

Cook your favorite meals.

Freshly prepared dinners have all kinds of benefits, from the relaxing cooking process for yourself or others, to their role in overall health and well-being. 2023 may be the year you dig into your childhood favorites with fresh ingredients, whether stuffed peppers or broccoli casseroles. And don’t count pastaโ€”despite some giving it a bad rap, pasta can actually be a great source of protein and nutrients, especially if you try variations like whole grains, chickpeas, or lentils.

Develop a comforting routine.

It doesn’t have to be a long or complicated routineโ€”the shorter and sweeter, the better. It might help to have a particular skin care routine at night or make yourself a fresh cup of coffee and take a small walk in the morning. Having a little self-care practice that you can return to every day may not seem like much, but it’s a great way to add more structure to your day and still make time to prepare for the day or relax.
